Teaching Personnel are working with several schools across the Hackney area who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their team in May 24. We support staffing at specialist schools providing education for a range of SEN needs including ASC, mental health and learning difficulties.
You do not need classroom experience to be successful, especially if you have experience in any of the following areas
• Support work
• Youth volunteering/mentoring
• Personal experience with any SEN
• Sports coaching
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work mainly on a 1-1 basis with pupils, helping them to access learning and participate in lessons. This may involve getting involved in activities, supporting them throughout the day, and also general classroom support such as creating displays of children’s work.
Successful Teaching Assistants will have a patient and proactive approach and be able to adapt to every child’s needs and abilities. We have full-time and part-time roles available, and can be flexible around any prior commitments eg childcare or university.
Benefits available
