Do you want to make a difference daily supporting adults in living as independently as possible? We’re looking for motivated Support Workers to support adults with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties In Kingston upon Hull.
Gap Healthcare is well established, working with Services that are managed to a high standard and we are looking for Support Workers with the confidence and ability to make a difference. You will need to support service users whilst maintaining the high standards that are embedded throughout our values and service delivery.
Salary: Up to £11.44-£13 per hour depending on service
Hours: full time and part time hours available
Area: Kingston upon hull
Responsibilities Support Worker
Form positive relationships with service users and provide an environment in which they feel safe and free from harm.
Support service users gain self-control by rewarding positive behaviours and challenging unacceptable behaviour.
Ensuring each care plan is followed and amended as required to reflect their changing needs.
Assisting service users with practical matters such as accessing the community, independence skills development, cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
Support to identify and attend social and leisure activities.
