Job Description:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Warehouse Leader to oversee our warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics.
Your leadership will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
 •  Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
 •  Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimise warehouse operations and maximize productivity.
 •  Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
 •  Coordinate with other departments, including production, purchasing, and customer service, to fulfil orders and meet customer requirements.
 •  Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
 •  Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
 •  Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
 •  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

 •  Experience in warehouse management or logistics leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
 •  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
 •  Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
 •  Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
 •  Knowledge of lean principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives is desirable.
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 •  Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
