Job Title: Electrical Workshop Technician
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
An opportunity has become available to join an approved Part 145 MRO as an Electrical Workshop Technician at their site just outside of Saffron Walden, Essex. The company specialises in developing new repairs for aircraft components via Part 21J design and has a full range of C- ratings as well as a CAA BCAR approved aerospace welding workshop.
They provide component repairs to a wide range of aircraft operators including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR and Bombardier. The company offers solutions on reliability problems, reducing delays, lowering operator and FHA providers stock holding requirements, associated administration and costs.
The Electrical Workshop Technician will report into the Electrical & Avionics Team Leader and the primary purpose of the role will be the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, part replacement and re-assembly of aircraft Electrical/ Electronics components such actuators, water boilers, ovens, lighting, seats and various other components.
This is a permanent position working Monday- Friday, 8.00am- 4.30pm. There is overtime available.
Main Responsibilities:
• Inspection and diagnosis of Electrical components, repairs, and parts replacement requirements.
• Disassembly and cleaning of Electrical Aircraft components.
• Repair and parts replacement of Electrical Aircraft components.
• Reassembly of aircraft Electrical Aircraft components to required standards and timeframe.
• Work in accordance with technical publications
• Correlate all work carried out in accordance with part 145 requirements.
• Adheres to all Company standard operating procedures
• Adheres to all health and safety procedures
• Meets workshop quality and housekeeping standards
• Ensures all activity and works delivered meets the Company quality standards
• Ensures all administration and systems inputs meets agreed standards

• You will be a team player, willing to learn, disciplined, with an eye for detail and a self-starter.
