Creative Instrumentation are recruiting a Production Engineer to be based in our factory in East Worthing. We have a strong long term order book and as a result we need to increase the level of permanent staff as the business grows.
As a business we work within a variety of sectors including Aerospace, Medical, Oil & Gas and Defence as a sub-contractor for some of the leading global companies in their given field.
Main Duties
The main aspect of the roll is to managing the technical/critical success factors of any given project for its lifetime within the company.
Other duties include:
• Driving the project (projects) to plan.
• Ensure that all manufacturing procedures are followed by the operators working on the projects.
• Develop and monitor manufacturing procedures to ensure that preventative measures are implemented to prevent errors.
• Ensure that purchased parts for given projects have been ordered and followed through with delivery dates communicated to Production.
• Undertake duties and responsibilities as directed by The Director/Production Manager and/or Operations Manager.
• Manual manufacturing assembly.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Previous Project Engineering Management.
• Manufacturing/Engineering Experience
• Experience managing all aspects of projects
• Organised and attention to detail.
• Proactive with a drive to improve processes
• Excellent people management skills
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise both themselves, workload and operators working on given projects
