Location: West Midlands
Salary: £55,000 + Car Allowance and package. D.O.E
Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working

I am working with a 5 start PLC house builder based in the West Midlands who is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Flexible working. Hybrid working. Car Allowance. Bonus & pension scheme available. 25 holidays plus stats.
My client is a national speculative house builder who is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to hit the ground running managing three sites in the West Midlands ranging from (Apply online only) units. All future projects will be within commutable distance of home as they truly operate on a regional basis.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

 •  Highlighting any risks when preparing cost estimates for contracts and tenders.
 •  Effectively manage costs, maximising business profitability.
 •  Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will ensure productivity targets are agreed and issued before contract start. This includes but not limited to direct labour incentives and sub-contractor management.
 •  Build & maintain healthy client relationships.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

 •  A Quantity Surveyor with proven experience working on house building.
 •  Demonstrate ownership of contracts, including estimating/ tendering, cost control, CVR management through to final accounts.
 •  Track record of liaising with relevant parties when holding site meetings to discuss project program.
