We are partnering with a well-established and well-respected business based in Dorset that is known globally for its high-quality handmade products. They have experienced continued growth and their portfolio has expanded greatly since they were first established.
Our client has a dedicated team of design and production engineers who develop new products and refine existing ones to help customers develop exactly what they need, our client is now looking for a CAD Technician to join their team

As a CAD Technician, you will work with the Senior Design Engineer performing a range of design and drafting tasks.

Key responsibilities as CAD Technician:

 •  You will look at and assess ECNs as required, changing designs and notes in existing products.
 •  Investigate and research new materials, products, and suppliers.
 •  Support Production Engineering ensuring accurate BOM accuracy within the ERP system.
 •  Update existing drawings and designs for products to ensure they reflect any design changes that may have occurred.
 •  Develop concepts through to Production for new products and components.
 •  Adopt a continuous improvement focus.

Experience and skill required as CAD Technician:

 •  Experienced in a CAD Technician position within a lean manufacturing and engineering environment.
 •  Strong Design software skills
 •  Have clear written and verbal communication skills.

 •  Basic Salary: £32 – £34,800k
 •  Pension scheme

 •  7.30am – 4.00pm Mon - Fri
