LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of a world-renowned manufacturer of Industrial recycling machinery. Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller to join their dynamic team in Dungannon.

Financial Controller Role:

This is fantastic career opportunity for a well-rounded Financial Controller to join a leading organisation at the forefront of machinery manufacturing. This pivotal role requires an individual who can spearhead financial strategies with precision and innovation.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial landscape and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
 •  Act as a member of the Company’s Senior Leadership Team in driving the strategic decisions of the company and supporting the business in enacting its strategic plan.
 •  Providing support to the SLT and MD on corporate governance matters.
 •  Responsible for managing the Finance team, overseeing the Finance processes to ensure compliance and efficiency in delivering a commercially focused finance department.
 •  Review and management of the internal control process and ensuring compliance across the business.
 •  Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk.
 •  Manage Company insurance for employees, equipment, and premises.
 •  Create and refine systems to minimise error, bolster productivity and ensure the smooth delivery of products.
 •  Responsible for all Companies House related matters, including the preparation and filing of the Confirmation statement and Persons with significant control register, notification of any significant changes in share capital, administration, and the company’s registered office.
 •  Have oversight and engagement with commercial contract negotiations where required.
 •  Ownership of the ERP system
 •  Manage the IT function for the business.

Financial Controller – Skills & Experience
 •  An experienced Financial Controller with at least 2 years in a similar role.
 •  Demonstratable leadership and people management skills.
 •  Fully Qualified i.e. ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CMA / CPA.
 •  Experience working directly within the Manufacturing / Engineering industry.
 •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 •  Commercially aware, an experienced SLT member, comfortable challenging the norm and being challenged.
 •  Experience taking full ownership of all business finances, from Budgeting and Forecasting and Board monthly reports, leading financial automation projects and much more.
 •  Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial and commercial data to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
