Are you a quantity surveyor looking to take the next steps in your career?
Are you educated to a degree level with experience working within the construction industry?
This is a great opportunity for a quantity surveyor to join a family run business who are delivering structural steel projects across the commercial sector in the UK & in Europe. Due to current workload and pipeline, this is a newly created position within this business where you will support the project management team on budgeting, cost variations & final accounts.

Responsibilities as a Quantity Surveyor:
Analyse cost vs budget data
Assess all costs and expenditure across all divisions in the business (design, sales, manufacturing & installation)
Support the project management team with applications for payments and final accounts
Communicate weekly reports
Assist in problem solving and determine action plansWe would welcome conversations with Quantity Surveyors who:
Are educated to a degree level
Have 2-3 years experience within the construction industry
Possess a strong commercial awareness across JCT & NEC forms of contract
Can communicate across all levels both internally and externally
