Sales Estimator
Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
The Role
We are currently looking for a Sales Estimator to join our client’s growing client based in Luton. They have been a leader in the sheet metal industry for over 50 years and are looking for someone ideally who has been in the sheet metal industry previously to join them as they continue to grow.
The role will include Account management for clients and suppliers to ensure excellent working relationships.
Required Skills:
• Maintain positive and strong working relationships with other team and department members and Managing Director.
• Excellent telephone manner and negotiation skills.
• Dealing with any problems that may arise from submitted quotations.
• Writing reports and creating spreadsheets to control costs.
• To have a close attention to detail and quality, of quotation and finished product.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, possible outside of normal working hours.
• Communicating with the customer about order progress.
Other attributes required:
• Must be fully computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft products and 2D and 3D Design software e.g. AutoCAD, Fusion 360 etc.
• A technical estimating Background within the sheet metal, fabrication or similar industries.
• To be able to work from visual media and samples.
• To follow quotes through the entire process from initial enquiry, through production to delivery
