Do you have extensive experience of working with young people aged 11-16, especially in improving behaviour for learning?
The Becket School have an amazing opportunity for a Student Engagement Officer, supporting our students with their emotional wellbeing and behavioural needs.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be working closely with our parents and carers. You will be delivering training to our students in areas such as anger management and a relevant professional qualification would be an advantage, as is previous experience of working in a school setting.

This is a permanent position available from October 2024. You will be working for 37 hours per week, term time only.

You will
Mentor students to improve mental health and behaviours depending upon their need.
Work with all staff to develop and implement effective strategies.
Develop, plan, organise and deliver short courses to small groups.
Work with students to reduce their barriers to learning and raise their achievement and engagement in lessons.
