Exciting Opportunity - Call Centre Operator

Location - Wokingham – office based

Salary - £22-25,500

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

My client, based in Wokingham, is looking for a Call Centre Operator to join their busy team! You'll be the first point of contact for their customers and emergency response calls, playing a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and record calls, letter and emails from customers and other stakeholders onto the system
• Making outbound calls to book work, updating people
• Deal with email enquiries regarding works or issues with the network and appropriately supporting the supervisor in issuing a response team if needed to the location of the enquiry
• Pass emergency calls and other works to Emergency Response Units via telephone
• Run reports to assist in performance management queries and data collection
• Provide reports to contract teams and senior management of emergency callouts, number of enquires, calls received etc.
• Assist in various other ad hoc tasks that may have to be undertaken as and when required
• Calling lone workers at regular intervals for safety checks
