Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant for all key stages, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, primary, and secondary settings.
  • Working one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
  • Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behavior.
  • Supporting students with additional needs, including SEN, to ensure they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Preparing and organizing resources to enhance classroom learning.
  • Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and participation.
  • Creating a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Experience working across different key stages (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and age-appropriate strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with children and young people.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
