We are recruiting for our client located in Basildon who is recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their existing team

• Annual Salary: £27,000
• Location: Basildon
• Job Type: Full-time (Monday
• Friday, 9am
• 5pm; some weekends during busy periods)

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Basildon facility. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing a dynamic team. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and safely, maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure workflows are efficient and effective.
• Manage and lead a small team of warehouse staff
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Handle any issues related to logistics, staff, or operations promptly.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and progress for senior management.
• Occasionally oversee weekend operations during busy periods to ensure smooth running of activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar managerial role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to handle and oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in implementing health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
