Loan Admin Officer

A dedicated Loan Admin Officer is sought to join a dynamic team within a growing company. This role involves managing various loan portfolios, ensuring optimal post-completion servicing for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Review and Process Requests: Accurately handle information requests within agreed timelines, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Customer and Advisor Interaction: Address standard loan enquiries promptly, providing reliable and up-to-date information.
  • Account Management: Make amendments to customer accounts adhering to procedural and regulatory standards.
  • Financial Management: Inform customers of due payments, manage collections according to BACS rules, and process financial transactions accurately.
  • Loan Security and Compliance: Manage the release of loan securities upon fund receipt and ensure loans approaching expiry are followed up appropriately.
  • Professional Liaison: Maintain professional relationships and streamline processes by working closely with clients, third parties, and internal teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Report system or loan discrepancies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Numerical Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to figures, instalments, and interests.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: High precision in information recording and processing is crucial.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting colleagues and fulfilling commitments.
  • Adaptability and Learning: Quick to learn new systems and concepts, adapting to changes.
  • Customer Sensitivity: Capable of managing sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

  • Experience in the lending industry.
  • Understanding of specialist finance in the UK.
