GIS Technician
ARM are working with a large infrastructure organisation and we are looking for a GIS Technician to join their team in the West Midlands on a permanent basis for involvement on major projects in the UK About You
You will be an experienced Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Technician
You will have demonstrable experience of working on ARCGIS and other ESRI programmes in a professional capacity
You will be able to use Python for data sets Experience of FME and assistive technologies is required for this position also
Ideally you will have experience of land registry or Land Property
What you will be doing
This position will be supporting on a land and property portfolio The information comes from the supply chain and using ARCGIS FME and Python you will use this data for reporting and checking purposesThis position will be based in Birmingham on a hybrid basis Working 2 days a week in the office and 3 days home based What you can expect in return
The salary range for this position is between 32 150 and 43 355 On top of this is an excellent benefits package with generous allowances for pension holiday healthcare and more This is an organisation with a large GIS team so there is opportunities to progress that some organisations are unable to offer
