SEN Teaching Assistant

One of our partner schools in South Manchester are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team for the new academic year!
In this role, you will be supporting students with a variety of complex additional needs and help them to achieve their learning goals.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons and creative activities.
- Build relationships with students and staff
- Create a safe and fun learning environment for children
- Encourage expected behavior and act as a role model for children
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN in an education or care setting (desirable)
- A calm and patient manner.
- Personal care, moving and handling and BSL experience (desirable)
- Sensitivity and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
