My client is a well-established property solicitor firm in the heart of Esher, specialising in residential and commercial property transactions. Known for their local expertise and exceptional client service, they are the go-to firm for both first-time buyers and seasoned investors looking for a smooth, hassle-free property buying or selling process

• Client Account Management:
• Handling client funds in compliance with SAR Accounts Rules.
• Ensuring that client money is kept separate from the firm's money.
• Maintaining accurate records of client transactions.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Regularly reconciling the firm's bank accounts (both client and office accounts).
• Ensuring that the balances are correct and match the firm's financial records.
• Processing Payments:
• Preparing and processing client and office account payments.
• Making payments to third parties such as land registries, HMRC, or other legal firms.
• Handling payments for invoices, court fees, and property transactions.
• Billing and Invoicing:
• Issuing client invoices and ensuring they are paid on time.
• Monitoring fee earners' time records and preparing bills for services provided.
• Payroll and Staff Payments:
• Managing payroll for the firm's employees, including solicitors, legal staff, and support staff.
• Administering pension payments, tax deductions, and other statutory obligations.

• Experience of working as a legal cashier within residential conveyancing essential
• Knowledge within sales and purchase transactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Methodical and able to prioritise own workload
• Ability to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Accuracy and good attention to detail
• Strong IT and audio skills
