Risk Management & Excellence Assistant - Manchester

The Risk and Excellence team at DWF are hiring for a Risk Management & Excellence assistant. Your role will be a multifaceted position, working in the Manchester office on a hybrid basis. You will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of our risk and excellence agenda across the firm.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will gain experience supporting the Compliance team, Audit team, Enterprise Risk Team, Data Protection team and Insurance team, with opportunities for development available as you progress in your role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support members of team in preparing Board and Committee reports and presentations as well as assisting with administrative duties.
  • Maintain up-to-date logging requirements for various activities and support financial guidance tasks, including raising purchase orders and overseeing expense approvals. You will be the main point of contact for arranging and coordinating meetings for team members.
  • Use document guidance to collate and collect data which can be used to identify risks within the business. You will be required to work with other team members on a variation of projects.
  • Support with policy creation.
  • Document/track tasks and procedures.

Essential
  • Comprehensive IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work alone or in team.
  • Demonstrates an energetic work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills including multitasking abilities.
Desirable
  • Proficient Power BI skills.
  • Experience with compliance/risk in a similar role.
  • Administration experience.
