Interim Junior Corporate Counsel - Shipping Sector
Our client is a global shipping service provider. Due to a strong deal flow, they anticipate requiring the assistance of an interim junior corporate Lawyer in the New Year on a project basis.
It is likely that the successful interim Lawyer will have experience in handling a full range of corporate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and the necessary ancillary documents. Candidates are likely to be qualified Lawyers in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia and/or New Zealand, for example), and possess upwards of 1 years' PQE.Prior experience within the maritime/shipping sector would be ideal, but not essential. Language skills would also be highly beneficial (French, German, Spanish, and/or Italian, for example), but are not a prerequisite.
The successful Lawyer will likely be based in the UK, have exposure to working on international corporate matters, and can expect to be engaged on an hourly or daily rate basis, depending on the project specifics. The successful interim junior counsel will work on a fully remote basis, and will work closely with the Group Legal Counsel.
Whilst projects are likely to start in the New Year, the end client is interested in reviewing profiles sooner rather than later.
