Quality Technician / Quality Inspector
Experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environmentExperience conducting internal auditsAbility to read engineering drawingsExperience using handheld measurement devicesIdeally you will have experience dealing with suppliersCompetent with the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access.Experience with looking at non conformances and raising corrective actionsExcellent communication skills allowing for discussion at all levels.A 'can-do', energetic, solution-focused attitude and the ability to inspire others towards a common goal.
Quality Technician/ Quality Inspector Duties:
Work with Purchasing function to ensure prompt and effective Corrective Action in response to Supplier Non-conformances.Develop the goods-in process for best value, ensuring appropriate levels of inspection and verification. Identify opportunities, based on recorded data, to apply dynamic modification to inspection levels with a view to inspection activity reduction.Work with Engineering and Purchasing functions to ensure initial samples and serial production conform to requirements.Develop and improve existing QA metrics and KPl's.Conducting supplier audits to drive process standardisation, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.Assist with internal Quality Audits and external Supplier Audits/visits.Employ Quality Assurance principles and problem-solving techniques to assist with effective response to non-conformances.Become a focal point for Quality matters.
