Floor Manager (Restaurant)

The working pattern will vary based on the Rota & they will be required to work flexible hours to meet business needs. Some days they will be required to work longer shifts including early & late shifts due to the nature of the business.

The restaurant floor manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities taking place in the fast food restaurant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Training the serving staff to provide quality customer service by greeting each restaurant guest, recommending food and drink selections, and describing the specials.

Ensuring that all activities in the restaurant's kitchen follow food safety procedures at all stages.

Managing all aspects of their clients' dining experience, including seating them, and making sure they have a positive overall experience.

Supervising the dining area and making sure that customers who choose to dine in and don't yet have a table get one as quickly as possible.

Managing the restaurant and kitchen staff by hiring personnel, evaluating each staff member's performance, and addressing any issues that may prevent them from delivering quality work.

Adjusting staffing requirements based on the overall sales volume and on special occasions, such as the holiday season.

Ensuring that the restaurant has optimal food inventory levels at all times.

Restaurant floor managers will aim to ensure that our fast food restaurant meets its service and sales objectives.

They will supervise and direct the activities of staff to make sure that all our customers have a pleasant experience through prompt and polite service.

They will also, fill in for any staff members in case of absenteeism and ensure that the overall function of the restaurant is managed properly.
