Role:
We are seeking a consultant ready to step into a Senior Manager role, with experience in the data and digital analytics space. You’ll bring a strong background in account, budget, and project management, alongside people management and leadership skills.In this role, you will lead client workshops and discovery sessions, contributing to new client opportunities by scoping projects and creating costings. A deep understanding of B2B sales and marketing journeys is essential, as well as the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including Heads of and C-suite executives, to deliver strategic insights and drive client success.
A week in the life of a Principal Consultant at Mezzo Labs will look like:
- Client Management: Lead weekly status calls for a multinational client, covering project updates and budgets. Capture action items, align team members, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Project Delivery & High-Value Consulting: Design high-level Martech architecture diagrams and manage data discrepancy diagnostics, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Reporting & Cross-Selling: Present findings and suggest additional projects to clients. Draft scoping documents for new or ongoing projects, including time estimates and key assumptions.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop a 1-2 year roadmap for data quality, reporting, and activation, working with the team to incorporate specialized expertise.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership: Facilitate workshops on complex challenges, guide team members to perform and grow, and provide mentorship as the go-to data and technology consultant.
- New Business Development: Support new business meetings as the analytics subject matter expert, contributing insights and expertise.
- Client Retention & Value Addition: Drive renewals, explore additional engagement opportunities, and conduct mid-year client feedback sessions to ensure satisfaction and expand accounts.
- Thought Leadership & Marketing: Write LinkedIn posts bi-monthly to share insights on analytics trends and promote Mezzo Labs.
- Managing Difficult Conversations: Address dissatisfied clients' concerns regarding quality, deadlines, or responsiveness, potentially discussing cost adjustments or contract renewals.
You have hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and ideally Adobe Analytics. You’re familiar with server-side tagging, JavaScript, and platforms like Tealium iQ, Segment, or Bloomreach Exponea. You also have a strong understanding of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with preference management tools like OneTrust.
You’re proactive, able to anticipate challenges and add value to client accounts. With strong communication skills, you can confidently engage with senior stakeholders. Self-motivated and disciplined, you manage multiple clients and workstreams effectively, while collaborating seamlessly with your team.
