Receptionist / Office Assistant - Glasgow
Statom Group Ltd. is a leading civil engineering firm with a strong reputation for excellence in Remediation, Groundworks, and Structures. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a proactive and well-organised Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team in Glasgow.
This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of front-of-house and administrative responsibilities. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office and a welcoming experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer and manage incoming calls and email enquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Support general office administration, including filing, document preparation, and supply management.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings and catering.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team and other departments as required.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or office assistant in a corporate setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-oriented approach.
- Basic knowledge of office management procedures is an advantage.
