Job Description- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the retail sector (specifically Grocers & High Street).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs & competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the sales department to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiating contracts and pricing with key national accounts
- Track and report on sales metrics and performance targets.
- Support the company's growth strategy by meeting revenue objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven experience in business development or account management with national retail accounts.
- Experience within toys, creative products, personal care, wellness or beauty.
- A strategic and analytical approach to identifying opportunities.
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Open to more experienced hires aswel as candidates with 2-3 years relevant experience looking for a step up
- A competitive salary of £45000 to £55000, depending on experience.
- Performance-based bonus to reward achievements.
- Annual company profit share
- Hybrid working model - 3 days on site
