English Teacher – Luton (High-Performing Secondary School)

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Luton. Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility to teach Key Stage 5 based on experience.
- Lesson Planning: Develop creative lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, comprehension, and effective communication.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and report in line with school policies.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum planning within the English department, sharing best practices and innovative teaching approaches.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic achievement and student well-being.
About You
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related subject. You should have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4, with any experience at KS5 seen as an asset. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for literature, language, and critical analysis, and dedicated to improving student outcomes.
