Internal Communications and Engagement Manager

Retirement Village Groups is looking for an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to join our People Team in our London Victoria office.

The Internal Communications and Engagement Manager focuses on the delivery of internal communications, engagement and change communication, in partnership with key senior stakeholders and the wider business. The role also leads our annual employee engagement survey and Values Rewards Scheme, supporting our Employee Value Proposition.

Essential to this role is creating engaging solutions for all our employees through a variety of channels including delivering virtual, hybrid and face to face events. This role is responsible for creating and delivering multi-site, multi-brand and multi-function campaigns - working in collaboration with our marketing team to ensure the tone and messaging is joined up and shared effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of our company strategic agenda and objectives.
  • Provide counsel, guidance and tools to managers and senior leadership.
  • Lead and manage the internal engagement survey implementation, ensuring the leadership team has access to insights that inform positive change.
  • Support the business to engage with new ways of working that are required to deliver the organisations goals.
  • Create communications campaigns that engage different audiences using a range of channels.
  • Lead, drive and oversee social activity including monthly socials, Christmas and summer parties, and other annual events.
  • Establish audience impact analysis and identify key communications messages and channels to ensure engagement of every stakeholder group.
  • Lead the communication of results across the company, actively equipping leaders and managers to communicate results and take action.
  • Ensure that our internal intranet reflects our employer brand, culture and continues to be a relevant and valuable platform for employees.
  • Supports the business as it works through a period of digital transformation using Micrsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, MS Teams etc.
