Day-to-day of the role:
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide tailored support to children with a variety of complex needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with a dedicated team to implement educational plans that cater to individual requirements.
- Engage with pupils through creative and interactive learning activities.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages students to thrive.
- Assist with the development of social skills and independence among pupils.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills.
- A strong desire to go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
- Confidence in handling the challenges that come with working in a special needs environment.
- Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
