To help Bristols pupils with special learning needs, Randstad Education is
searching for a kind and capable SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Encourage the participation of students in classroom activities, ensuring they feel included and valued.
  • Use creative and engaging methods to support learning, promoting confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to assess progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development of resources and strategies to enhance the learning environment.
**We are looking for someone who is:**
  • Someone who understands the unique challenges SEN students face and can provide unwavering support.
  • Can collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and external agencies.
  • Experience working with children with SEN (either professionally or personally).
  • Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and strategies to support them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Able to provide 2 professional references.
  • Having the eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Having an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one.
