Senior Internal Communications Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to play a key role supporting the Communications and External Affairs team.

You will be responsible for keeping GamCare’s staff updated with regular communications from our Leadership Team and our Board, ensuring our staff are engaged with key updates and initiatives from across the organisation.

You will also provide support with delivering internal events, such as the delivery of the annual staff awards to recognise and celebrate colleague achievements, bring together staff and keep us aligned with our purpose as a charity.

You will bring excellent communication skills to the role and an ability to find positive stories from across the charity that resonate with staff.

Working as part of a broader communications team, you’ll be adept at working with stakeholders across different functions and connecting the dots across the organisation.

Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
