This multi-national company offers in depth expertise in the key activities of electrical installation, mechanical & pipe work engineering and process control. Covering all the major industrial sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors and major engineering firms.With the primary aim of meeting client's needs and optimising their industrial performance, the company builds on a broad range of expertise, substantial track record and extensive network. With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager with process pipework and plant installation experience to join the company, supporting major mechanical installation projects within the food and beverage industry.
Duties
As a suitably experienced and qualified Contracts Manager you will be managing process pipework and plant installation projects on food and beverage sites across the Midlands and South of England. Primary responsibilities will be to oversee projects from the first marketing approach, through quotation, negotiation, realisation, costs, invoicing, final acceptance and receipts.This will include identifying projects and tenders, overseeing the successful delivery of the project to scope, target costs, quality, programme and completion. Encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover and all commercial aspects.
You will also be accountable for the procurement, purchasing and technical aspects of the project along with developing key customer relationships through regular reviews of contract performance, understanding and managing needs and shortfalls.
About You
Ideally living in Northamptonshire or Warwickshire or within a short commutable distance of Daventry, NN11 4GL.
Proven experience of working with and managing contracts within a traditional construction project preferably within a food and beverage production environment.
Manager/Supervisor status with relevant technical discipline and experience.
Experienced in the design or manufacture or installation of products for the Food & Beverage Sector.
