The Extra Care Charitable Trust have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to join our friendly team at our Pannel Croft Retirement Village.Are you an experienced Chef who is creative and likes to cook a range of menu’s including Caribbean food?
You could be involved with menu planning and ensuring special dietary requirements are considered as well as a varied menu of freshly cooked meals and snacks.
You will also contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen within a small team.

Details:
- Role: Chef
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Work Pattern: Flexible across 7 days a week.
- Salary: £12.60 per hour
- Responsible for providing freshly cooked meals
- Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value
- Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed
- Ensure the menus are prepared within budget
Our ideal Chef will :
- Have experience of working in a similar environment
- Be qualified to QFC / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Have previous experience of budgeting
- Possess high kitchen standards
- Have a presence at front of house.
