More detail about the role: This will include the registration of patients on to appropriate waiting list, booking pre-operative assessment and scheduling treatments under the supervision of senior booking officers and lead officer as necessary.
The post holder will also undertake role of one stop booking co-ordinator, greeting patients and discussing availability and choice. There will be a requirement to train new members of staff as appropriate to job role. The role will be based in Bideford Community Hospital by the end of the year.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 (flexible working considered upon request) Interview Date: 21st of October 2024 Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024.

If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
