Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery/Collections Driver (Grade 4) to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods and collection of items as per company standards.This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be entrusted with a company vehicle and will represent our organization during every interaction with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
We are looking for a driver who is not only skilled in navigating various routes but also possesses excellent organizational skills. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that all deliveries and collections are made in compliance with relevant regulations.
You will also be responsible for maintaining records of deliveries and collections, which contributes to seamless logistics and inventory management. Excellent communication skills are necessary for this role, as you will interact with a variety of individuals throughout your day.

ResponsibilitiesTransport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
Collect items from various locations as specified by management.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections including receipts and invoices.
Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to management promptly.
Provide exceptional customer service and support during interactions with clients during delivery or collection.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to promote a safe driving environment.
RequirementsValid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar position.
Strong knowledge of the local area and efficient route planning.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages as needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 07:00End Time: 15:00
Pay Per Annum: £13.05
