An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Administrator within People Services in this Fire and Rescue Authority's Recruitment team.

The People function is positioned at the heart of transformation that supports the growth and success of this Fire and Rescue Service and you will be joining at a very busy, but exciting, time as they embark on the implementation of a number of new culture strategies that are aligned to their vision and values, through their new Culture Programme.
Based at the service Headquarters in Central Sheffield, you will support the People Officer (Recruitment and Selection) in the provision of a high quality, effective and efficient customer-focused recruitment transaction service for all employees and stakeholders.
With an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent, you will have a good understanding of people processes, particularly in relation to recruitment and selection and proven experience of applying administration procedures and systems to provide a quality transactional people service.

New starters will commence on the bottom of the salary grade and will receive increases to the top of the grade on an incremental basis. This employer offers 28 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus Bank Holidays. Annual leave increases after 5 years’ service to 32 days, followed by an extra day a year up to a maximum of 37 days.They also operate a generous flexi time attendance scheme.
