An exciting opportunity has arisen at our outstanding college for a HR Officer. This role is pivotal in maintaining well-established employee relations by providing expert advice and comprehensive support to staff, senior leaders, trade union representatives and external stakeholders/ agencies on all HR matters.

This is a versatile and varied role, and each day is different. You will be a key member of the HR Team, working with us to ensure an exceptional HR service is provided to our staff.

Situated within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre, we are a highly successful and vibrant College, having been graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories once again in 2024 by Ofsted.

Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high-quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. In 2023, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved excellent exam results, as they have done for many years.

You will be working in a state-of-the-art building with superb equipped classrooms and facilities.

The salary for this post will be based on points 18-20, currently £32,259 - £34,391 per annum, FTE, depending on experience.

The hours of work will be full-time, 36.5 hours per week, all year round.
