Real Estate Solicitor

Robert Walters is recruiting on behalf of a leading national law firm for a Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join their Birmingham team. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a very experienced Partner, who has over 20 years of expertise advising banks, lenders, funds, and borrowers on high-value commercial and residential transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on real estate aspects of finance transactions, focusing on risk mitigation and smooth execution.
• Handling portfolio investment transactions, residential developments, and high-value property deals.
• Project managing real estate components of large development and investment facilities.
• Assisting with due diligence and structuring transactions efficiently for clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

• NQ to 4 years' PQE in Real Estate or Real Estate Finance.
• Strong understanding of real estate finance transactions, including portfolio investments and developments.
• Commercial approach to legal advice and risk management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Examples of Work:

• Advising on £100m facilities for student accommodation and build-to-rent schemes.
• Managing the real estate aspects of a £60m acquisition of a national commercial portfolio.
• Assisting on a £48m term loan for refinancing and property acquisition.
• Supporting a £17m facility for a student housing operator.
• Advising on a £10m bridging facility for a large residential development.
