Reed in Leeds are seeking a Temporary Receptionist to provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and callers for our client based in Leeds. This role is crucial in managing reception operations and ensuring our office environment is organised and efficient.

Day-to-day of the role:

Reception:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone enquiries, ensuring a professional and warm welcome.
• Efficiently answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take messages and handle enquiries promptly.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
• Manage hospitality requirements, including booking refreshments for events and keeping supplies fully stocked.
• Oversee the room booking system and handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.

Building (Housekeeping/Maintenance):

• Support the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of common areas such as kitchens, restrooms, and breakout areas.
• Coordinate with contractors for necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any areas of concern, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
• Maintain accurate records of building maintenance, repairs, and services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
