This role offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support the classroom environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
