Caretaking and Cleaning Services are seeking to appoint an organised, enthusiastic and highly motivated Caretaker, who will be based at Holly Mount RC Primary, Holly Mount Lane, Bury BL8 4HS

Catholic Religious Education is the “core of the core curriculum” (Pope St John Paul II) and the foundation of the entire educational process. Our positive behaviour strategies enable children to make decisions that benefit others not just themselves. House systems, Special Friends in Reception and Year 6; rewarding children and giving responsibilities such as Prefects and Class Helpers further develop the communication and interpersonal skills which are essential to living a happy and fulfilling life not just in modern Britain but as a global citizens.
The children in our care deserve a first-class education during their time here so that they reach their academic potential; develop a thirst for learning; make friends, play fairly, laugh, love and leave knowing they were part of this very special school that is Holly Mount.
The Job
The salary for this post will be Grade 6 pro rata, £12,908 per annum.
This post is permanent, all year round and for 20 hours per week.
Work Pattern: Split shift 7:00am 9:00am and 4:00pm 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
This role includes the responsibility of being a key holder, cleaning, ensuring the environment is secure and sharing responsibility for the opening and closing of the premises. It will also require some DIY work as and when required.
You must be physically capable of undertaking the duties required. Relevant experience is an advantage although not essential as training will be provided.
