Graduate Research Engineer - Milton

This role will require onsite presence due to the nature of the role with some flexibility as and when business requirements allow.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hands-on data collection and analysis to gain a deep understanding of experimental results.
- Interface with lab equipment and actively participate in the setup and execution of experiments.
- Assist in project management tasks, including liaising with suppliers and sourcing components for experiments.
- Characterize optical designs and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of hardware performance.
- Continuously develop your scientific and data analysis skills to contribute effectively to the team.
- Minimum of a bachelors level qualification in a technical subject.
- A strong foundation in programming, with experience in Python or C preferred.
- Able to conduct experiments, run tests, and evaluate results scientifically.
- Hands on. Enjoys being in the lab or field working with equipment, taking data to analyse.
- Must be within commuting distance of the office.
- Familiarity with UNIX-based operating systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
- Exposure to collaborative software development practices, such as version control using Git.
- Some familiarity with electronics and embedded software (to a hobbyist level).
