Job Description- Manage payroll processing across the organisation
- Ensure accurate payments for Maternity, Adoption Leave, and Long-Term Sickness
- Perform payroll checks as directed by the Payroll Team Leader
- Reconcile payroll deductions
- Handle pension administration, including monthly returns across pension schemes
- Prepare and reconcile contributions for payroll authorisation
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Payroll Officer should have:
- A strong understanding of payroll and pensions processes
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills
- Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and GDPR
- A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in managing a team in the Not For Profit industry
- 35+ days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
