Print Officer
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Print Officer, on a 3-Weeks contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.80 - £16.11 per Hour
Summary:
The Print Officer will be responsible for working within the Print Department to manage print estimating, account management, invoicing, and procurement. The role requires expertise in using a print Management Information System (MIS) and experience in estimating for various print services, including lithographic and digital print, as well as mail and fulfillment services.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate estimations and costings for print jobs, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Manage accounts and oversee print orders from estimation to invoicing.
Generate purchase orders and ensure orders are correctly processed and completed for invoicing.
Enter job details into the MIS to create technical specifications for Production Planning and materials requisition.
Liaise with Production staff to ensure smooth workflow and job execution.
Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding project updates and requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience using a print Management Information System (MIS) such as Optimus, Shuttleworth, Tharstern, or similar.Minimum 3 years experience in print estimating for lithographic print, digital print, and/or mail & fulfillment services.
Strong numeracy skills with the ability to perform detailed cost estimations.
Experience in generating purchase orders and processing invoices.
