About the Role:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supply team for roles in SEN schools in the central Derby area. Whether you are looking for temporary, long-term, or day-to-day work, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.Key Responsibilities:Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Providing one-on-one or small group support as required
- Implementing individual education plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Promoting social and emotional development and fostering a sense of independence in students
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
- A compassionate and patient nature, with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and with various age groups
