Full time Nanny needed for young baby in Over Wallop, Stockbridge, SO20
This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified nanny to join a lovely laid back family, long term. Care is required for their baby boy, who will be 4 months old at the time of the role starting. The nanny will be needed 12-6pm Monday to Friday, with 2 proxy parent overnights per month.
The family live in a lovely country home, with a one acre garden and nine acres of horse facilities/paddocks. (There is currently some construction in the back garden which will not affect the main house). Mum is a keen equestrian and the property includes full equestrian facilities (if the nanny is a horse owner, the family may be able to offer accommodation for their horse).Dad is an amateur pilot in his spare time. Both Mum and Dad work from home in their office spaces, however they have busy professional jobs and require the nanny to be fully in sole charge of the baby. As baby gets older they would love the nanny to take him to local groups and classes in the area.
The family enjoy travelling and tend to be abroad for 4-6 weeks of the year. They would love their nanny to join them on some or all of their trips, particularly if they would enjoy travel to America and Europe, (generally for 1 week or less at a time).However they would not see this as essential if the perfect candidate would prefer not to travel. Any additional hours worked whilst away would be paid in addition to the nanny’s usual salary.
The right candidate will be relaxed in nature, energetic and outdoorsy, with a good sense of humour. The nanny must be able to drive, with their own car suitable for transporting children, and would ideally be local to the family so they know the area well.The nanny must be level 3 or above qualified in childcare, with experience caring for babies. The family have a very loving and bouncy terrier, so it is important the nanny is a dog lover (although no care for the family dog is required from the nanny).
Duties include: full care of baby, following his routine with feeds and naps (baby is formula fed), sensory play and outdoor walks during wake windows, baby laundry and keeping the nursery tidy. Nursery duties only. As he gets older, attending local classes and playgroups as well as planning age appropriate activities to encourage his developmental milestones.Cooking and weaning at appropriate stages will also follow.
The 2 overnight proxy parents will generally be 6pm through until 10am the following day. The family will give as much notice as possible as to which dates are required. The overnights will be contracted and therefore paid as part of the nanny’s salary.This will be broken down as the nanny’s usual hourly rate until 10pm, minimum wage overnight during sleeping hours (currently £11.44gph) returning to the nanny’s usual hourly rate at 7am onwards. If any extra hours are required the family will ensure this is paid in addition to their usual salary.

Pay: UP TO £33,575.04 gross per annum, £2797.92 gross per month
