Our client is a market leading Global Business with site in Glasgow. The opportunity will offer hybrid working (3x days on site & 2x WFH) and free parking available.

Job Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

• Work with the Senior Finance Manager, Project, Operations, and Commercial teams in improving and maintaining the processes used to operate and control project financial performance.
• Liaise appropriately with all group stakeholders.
• Managing the interests of the parent company, this will entail being aware of & managing both the peer / joint stakeholder & supplier / customer relationships.
• Deputise for the Senior Finance Manager as appropriate.
• Critical awareness of target costs ensuring compliance and rigour.
• Managing budgets and forecasts for projects.
• Project analysis and presenting findings to project leads.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

• Strong business / process analysis and excel skills.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills at all levels.
• Exp of working with Commercial and Project Operational teams.
• Project knowledge and exp is advantageous but, not essential.
• You must hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent / similar.
