Location: Newham, LondonPay Rate: £95-£105 per day
Contract: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Newham. The school is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive, both academically and socially, with a strong focus on SEN education.
Job Description:- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, adapting teaching materials and approaches to meet their individual needs.
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, and sharing updates with the teaching team and parents/guardians as required.
- Offering emotional support and encouragement to help students build confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised education plans.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow the class teacher's guidance.
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential).
