Support Worker - Female Full/Part Time
An exciting opportunity to join a friendly team, providing 2:1 24 hour support services to an adult female who has acquired brain and spinal cord injury.
Based in the family home you would be required to provide assistance with personal care and daily living activities.
The role requires attendance of medical and therapy appointments as well as community outings.
Previous experience of working in a care environment is essential. Applicants should be outgoing with a bubbly personality.
Applicants should be aware that the family have a number of small dogs and they should be comfortable working around the animals.
Driving of the clients transport, medication administration and writing of daily notes is also needed.
Both online and face to face training will be given as is required.
Hours of work
Various hours of work available from 12 – 40 per week, to be discussed at interview.
Shifts available are both week and weekend days and nights including bank holidays, the care team work 365 days per year.
Evening dinner is provided when working this shift.
Rates of pay
£14.00 per hour days & weekends£10.50 per hour sleep-in shifts
Applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
