Management Accountant

Hours: 9:00-17:00 - Fully Office based

This role works with a high performing finance team, reporting into the Finance Manager and would suit someone with strong, all-round accounting skills. You must be able to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, organised, have excellent time management and the ability to work as a member of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, ensuring accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Provide key insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Prepare detailed reports and financial models to improve strategic planning.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as budgets.
• Presenting reports to senior management to aid with business decision making.
• Supporting the Finance Manager with meeting department heads on actual to budget
• Review Vat returns.
• Support the Accounting and Finance Director with Statutory Reporting and Cash Flows.
• Payroll preparation for allocated companies
• Sales and purchase ledger processing as required
• Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements.

Desirable Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Studying towards CIMA, ACCA qualification
• Minimum of 2 year's experience in management accounting
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting systems, including cloud-based platforms
• Experience with payroll management
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
