Job Description

The key responsibilities of an Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
• Carrying out bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Processing invoices and ensuring accurate record keeping
• Conducting variance analysis and providing commentary
• Assisting with the year-end audit process
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes
• Maintaining compliance with financial regulations and standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Strong transactional finance background with experience preparing month end accounts
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• A competitive salary in the range of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
